VACANCY: Area Sales Manager: Special Channels and Modern Trade
LEVEL: Assistant Manager
To handle special channels and modern trade partners and ENSURE Distributors are aligned with current product and services on offer, ensuring customer satisfaction and effective selling and sales techniques, and provide excellent customer relationships.
1. Ensure Customer Satisfaction
- Ensure Recruiting of new Retail Chain outlets to partner with Airtel and stock the Airtel products
- Maintain special channels Primary billing by ensuring partners aligned with the monthly targets and actual Achievement
- Implementation of OPCO sales initiatives and promotions by developing field sales action plans and timelines
- Maintain current Retail chain partnerships
- Monitoring of Sales from all GSM & Airtel Money customer Activations and transaction targets
2. Achieve all performance targets
- Increase footprint through tie up of modern trade partners
- Increase the activity of MTU distributors on GUI for report retrieving and audits thus reduce customer pain through shorter down time, by ensuring IT is resolving all queries on Time.
- Increase the spread of points for EVD and special channels
- Increase number of Airtel money agents selling talk time through Airtel money
3. Promote Airtel brand image
- Communicate in a positive professional style.
- Visibility creation at touch points through marketing support teams
4. Rollout of new partner tie-ups
- Manage and coordinate all performance and tie ups with a new partner’s
- Ensure all Service level coordination for the products are managed with the relevant partner
- Close monitoring of the retailer performance trends and taking appropriate action for business continuity.
